On August 22, Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed a 400-seat luxury cruise contract with SAS Aranui Cruises, a unit of CPTM, France. The ship is the second cruise order signed by both sides after the previous "Aranui 5" (Alanui 5) passenger and cargo dual-purpose cruise ship delivered in 2015.

"Aranui 6" (Aranui 6) has a total length of 139.88 meters, a shape width of 22 meters, a design draft of 5.2 meters, a total tonnage of 14500, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a endurance of 6,000 nautical miles. It can carry 280 passengers and 119 crew members.

The ship uses an electric propulsion system, with four generators to drive two rotary thrusters and supply power to the ship. It is equipped with water mist in the fully submerged engine room to replace the usual CO2 fire extinguishing device and fixed water mist. The ship meets the latest international standards for safe return to port.

"Aranui 6" (Aranui 6) has open-air stage, barbecue restaurant, swimming pool, bar, shopping center, conference room, children's paradise, library, gym, SPA room and other recreational places. It has more than half of the sightseeing balconies, floor windows and guest rooms, and is equipped with four elevators. The luxury level of the ship is 5-star hotel. Standards.

The delivered Aranui 5 (Aranui 5), 126 meters long, 22.2 meters wide, 8 meters deep and 11500 tons, can carry 399 passengers and 166 containers.
